So I'm doing this thing were every week you get a new theme.  "The Trotting Dead" was one of them.  I didn't want to draw anything gory or bloody so I did shadowy figures lurking into the page

This was a gift for the artist of the MLP comic at Cincy Comic Con.  If you follow the comic, you'll get all the in jokes.  AND on top of that it is a parody of a sketch card that HE had done in the past featuring the Mad Hatter from DC comics.

So this was a gift for the wife the artist, usually she goes to cons with him to help him, but she wasn't at this one.  He seemed pretty convinced she was going to really like it, and I found out later she did.  It's a parody of the cover to Uncanny X-Men 101, her oc is the floating one, and the writer, artist, and colorist are the ones in the water.

A gift for Katie Cook at Cincy Comc con, she writes the comics.  She doesn't like Rainbow Dash, and her husband, the mule, doesn't like Fluttershy.  She said she couldn't wait to send him a picture of it.

I LOVE your Trotting Dead drawing!  My brother has all the Walking Dead comics and I believe you have the writing exactly the same?  I can't check because I don't his comics on hand!  Great work

The Trotting Dead logo is CLOSE to the official comic book logo for The Walking Dead.  Not an exact match, but close enough that you caught what I was trying for.
