OMG that whole list had me nodding my head and laughing! Especially Degrassi (I have every episode of Degressi+Degrassi High) and the clear Conair phone (why was that phone like the most amazing thing I'd ever seen as a teeny bopper??). Now I'm going to have The Zit Remedy's #1 hit stuck in my head all day.... ./` everybody wants somethin', they'll never give up! i have just woken drinking my coffee, oh good memory's, its made me day already, man i miss the 80s, they were the best ever, i loved all so many things there, just to name a few......
loved sweet smelling dolls and my eraser collection
loved my teen beat magazines   
wished i was Jem in the Jem and the Holograms 
squeeee so much drooling in 21 jump street and
Punky Brewster and Ricky from silver spoons had the best bedrooms ever

So, I was going down the list..Have it.. have it.. have it... Most of that stuff I still have.  I was an odd kid though. Never read Sweet Valley High (would rather read books about witches, then later, Stephen King and any horror I could get my hands on). Thought Electric youth was some of the nastiest stuff I ever smelled.. Hated NKOTB.

I wonder why they didn't use a picture of vintage Care Bears? My first Cabbage Patch Kid is almost identical to the one in the article.. except she has a shoulder tie dress..

Oh wow, Electric Youth. You could always tell which YMCA van took my soccer team places, because we used to douse ourselves in clouds of that. It was like chemical warfare, only pinker.

Also I swear to god I'm the only one who remembers that Poochie had an animated movie. It was this weird cartoon about a pink dog and her robot butler... Anyone else who even remembers Poochie usually just mentions the stationary, but I loved that cartoon! lol
