That's what my Rainbow Brite set looked like: a small board with flat magnets.

You know.... now that I read this thread, I think I had the same set as a kid. I TOTALLY forgot about it existing. I am going to have to go on a closet/garage search to find out what happened to it. The last time I saw it (gosh I'm guessing around mid 90's) I know mine was still in it's box. I vaguely remember it being removed from my closet and boxed in with puzzles and colorforms and stuff when I was in high school and moved to I think (well, I hope) my parents garage (this was long before I had gotten back into MLP). There were lots of magnets in the set from ponies to flowers to butterflies and I want to say squirrels or rabbits (I'm not sure, been too long).

Yes Teddy that is where yours came from!  I have the box and most of the magnets! No pics of it right now, but I had to have it because of Surprise! = D

If no one shows pics before the weekend, then I'll take pictures of mine.

They are hard magnets and I know there were more little critters and I think Firefly and a couple of others. 

That board looks better than the one that came with this box =D No ponies cluttering the background!

Wow, that big set is cool!  I remember mine did not have as many pony's cause it's a smaller board, but I did have the baby blossom and firefly.  Don't remember any others except the animals and flowers. Thanks for the great pic!
