Strange 80's toys ?

So I was on my usual mlp hunt today and came across some unusual looking cats and dogs. I assume they are from the 80's. I passed them up since I was unfamiliar with them and did not know if people collected them. I tried my best to find pics and description and could not so I thought some of you may know what I am talking about. I grew up in the 80's so I know my toys and these guys baffled me! They are the same size as G1 and G3 ponies roughly, have fun colors like ponies, brushable hair, and the letter "b" on their display sides. Does anyone know what they are?

My guess would be Barbie... I have a couple cats around here somewhere.

The "B" would seem to indicate them being Barbie.

Yup, if they have a B they're probably Barbie.

Ghost of the doll is amazing for trying to track something down <3  If they aren't Barbie, you will probably find out what they were on that site

My guess is Barbie as well! And they did look like the one in the link posted by pinkaurora Not as cute as that one though. Are these sought after?

I am pretty sure Tabbi Kitty is here somewhere, probably still in the basement with mangled bits of Barbie. ...I still don't like dolls.
