Are these errors? Fakes? Other?

I got some more last night as well! In no particular order:

-Orange-red Rainbow Dash (mane is pink/red/yellow/green, both eyes perfect, A mark)
-Yellow Applejack with pink mane/tail (splotch of pink paint on NDS under eye, which is pretty cute actually, C mark)
-White Pinkie Pie (pretty good condition for these, A mark)
-Teal Pinkie Pie (should have been a RBD, but I'm not too fussed because I like Pinkie better in teal anyway) (badly borked NDS eye, A mark)

Think the letters stand for where they were manufactured, maybe? And is it okay to use acetone on these to remove paint, or would it ruin the plastic?

Place of manufacture would be my best guess, too... at first I thought maybe they were shorthand for the mold, since there are five main molds counting the unattested Twilight Sparkle, but if Rainbow Dash comes in A, B, and E varieties, then that can't be it. Where'd you get your new ones?

Didn't get any photos from the front, since a) that's hard, and b) I unwrapped the ones with the very best paint jobs, so there aren't any huge eye-positioning errors except for poor pink RD, whose left eye extends onto her mane.

Yeek, poor pink Dash! All mine are from Plusneo, though I have some more coming from Aliexpress sooner or later. I'll get pics of this set once I get home.

My SO got the same set unfortunately. All pegasi have apple cutie marks and a 'B' on the left front leg, and all unicorns have balloon cutie marks and an 'F' on the left back leg. I love these strange little ponies.

Aww, no new combinations. I eBay-messaged plusneo a while back asking if they had any others, since we've only ever seen the one Applejack, but they never replied. No sign of the Pinkies coming back, either, and I've been checking ali most every day just in case.

White is such a great color for Rainbow Dash! Yellow works pretty well on Rarity, too. Sadly I get the feeling we're a very limited market for these girls -- I've been trying a set of six on eBay, and I've gotten watchers but never any bids, despite offering them for far less than blindbags go for at retail. Does it really matter so much they're fake, if they're cute and unique? I suppose the poor paint jobs might have something to do with it.

Unfortunately I would guess they are just like the fakies we see with other lines - very cute and different but holding a fakie value. Especially when the original product is relatively inexpensive. I am sure you ll find a buyer for them eventually though.

New photo, with Pinkie Pie and all-new Twilight Sparkle! Who manages to look especially mispainted, poor thing. They do seem to have a very limited set of cutie marks and paint colors over there, don't they?
