Getting ready for PonyCon Uk 2013... OH YEAH!

Hiya guys!

How have you all been? It's been a while since I last uploaded anything on here... It's been a busy first half to the year personally, and I've only just managed to get back into making some new customs for PonyCon UK 2013, for which I am SO SO SO SO SO SO excited! And the latest edition to my odd little collection is this: 'Lumber-Jill'

There is a wood near where I live, and recently the Powers-That-Be deemed it fine to cut out a good third of it to sell of the timber. This Pony is in honour of all the hard working lumber-jacks that got up before 6:00AM to start up their chainsaws and tractors, neck some coffee and get on with their job. Plus, she's made from sawdust and chippings taken from trees felled this past fortnight! She was fun to make, even though I sculpted the chainsaw from some vague memory of my partner swinging one around the woodshed on a cold winter past, (Not literally 'swinging' mind you. That wouldn't be very safe) so it's probably not very accurate... but you get the idea!

Well, there you have it! I'll keep you updated as and when I make more customs, which I'll hope you like, and hopefully see you in September! Joe xx

Very neat!  I love the texture the wood gives her.  I'm sure she is fascinating to look at in person, every angle would be different.
