Howdy hey all - time I updated my art thread!

I'm available for commissions and LURVE trading art for ponies 

I'm a traditional artist (illustration/portrait), primarily of pets/animals. For details about commissions, see below! And please feel very welcome to PM me with any queries 


Commissions are: Open     

Mediums: Pencils

Cost: The more detailed the commission the higher the price. The investment of the time involved in creating a picture and the materials used are very deciding factors in my pricing, which is as follows: $35-70NZ per illustration (includes shipping), or a trade of ponies to that equivalent value (include cost of your shipping of them - I wouldn't charge that on top!)

If you are not looking to trade ponies, please pm me for a quote. Otherwise we need to discuss what would be a fair trade ponywise 

It's an important and a happy thing to know that the work you receive is original and a one of a kind 


Payment: I accept paypal, or direct payment into my bank account if you are in NZ. Or, ponies in my mailbox!

Shipping: Shipping (and packaging) is included in the price. In the case of trades, you ship the ponies, I'll ship the picture, and no monies are exchanged!


Other important stuff:

Picture size - Currently 18x26cm - but I am about to buy a new pad and I don't know if that size is available anymore, so will update the picture size as required.

Turnaround - Please allow a couple of weeks (excluding shipping) once details have been sorted (photos provided, specifics you want). I'm a stay at home mum, which takes up most of my time! However, I do keep people posted on progress, and often send progress shots     

Lastly, I do keep electronic copies of all my work, and reserve the right to use completed works in my portfolio. Artwork must not be duplicated or used for commercial purposes without my permission, or by prior agreement. Heavy sounding stuff, but just safeguarding everyone! (I really am very friendly!)

Oh my gosh!  I've told you before and I'll tell you again, I love how you draw your horses.  The way you leave their legs as just lines looks so much like how my grandpa used to draw.  Let me see how moneys are looking later in the month and maybe I'll be able to commission you.

You guys are so sweet - thank you!     I'm not sure where the line thing came from. I've just always doodled that way and when I got back into art a couple of years back I guess it just followed through!  I always used to like drawing Arabian horses; their features are so fine, that I think that might have been where it stemmed from
