Maybe the Sunshine Family? They came out in the 70's.

This makes me think of Bouncin Babies. I have one of these dolls's rocking horse. They came with lots of accessories.  They were made by Galoob I believe.  There was a big sister doll that came with an even tinier baby. If its not them I don't know.  They might be too big actually....unless there was an international version that was smaller.  Mattel did make the jointed Baby Crissy doll with tons of accessories and she came with or without hair.

None of those either. What on earth did I have lol. It was a large line as well. I remember there being loads in the toy store.
We are definitely looking for something Barbie like in look, size and quality.

Well since you are in the UK, it may be nothing that we had in the USA.  So your guess is as good as mine lol.  Good luck.  Maybe try doing searches on ebay uk for miniature baby doll or small baby doll toy or something until you find them.
