it must be very exciting! i know the other ladies on the farm have been to bigger shows, but not me. i have only just gone to watch.
the show is part run by the owners of the farm zurrieq was kept at (zurrieq died suddenly last june) and held in about 1/2 a mile away in the big fields. there was a little shetland pony that lived on the next farm called charlie. he was owned by a little old lady (she was 90 or so) and she drove him. every year she would enter in to the driving competition with charlie. one year i think charlie had had enough and he took off, he charged (little old lady in tow!) through three classes, the tents, several crowds, past the brass band and the organ all the way home and into his stable
no one was hurt thank goodness
