Jem is being released as a limited edition collectors doll

I got Synergy today!  She looks so awesome- I can't wait until the rest arrive (due to the quick sell-out- I ended up having to get all from different vendors).

One seller that I had had bugged before about Rio (before I found one) got an extra Rio in and let me buy him- so now I will have two! I don't WANT two- but am hoping to trade him to someone for a SDCC Jem doll- I sure hope I can find a taker!!!!!

I picked up my 4 in person last Friday (2 hour drive each way, but I was able to squeeze in a visit with my grandmother, so it worked out well). They are gorgeous in person. I haven't got to set them up, but I did give them a good looking over. The little detail in everything is amazing - especially the accessories. The only thing that kinda bothers me is that Jerrica's eyes are blue & Classic Jem's eyes are purple. Shouldn't they be the same? Also the connector for Jem's microphone is the wrong type. I've worked in the audio/video industry for over 10 years & never saw a microphone with that type of connector, lol. But that aside, the detail of everything is impressive!!

Jem's a hologram.  Her eyes could be any colour. Just like her hair is pink.

Hey, changing her eye color makes about as much sense as her wearing a hologram bathing suit into the hot springs and when she steps out she's in full business attire. I know I wear my business suit when I'm in the bath. :p

I really hope they do the rest of the Holograms and the Misfits. I want a Stormer doll!

I LOVE the dolls! I only have Jerrica and Synergy so far- I can't WAIT for Rio and Classic Jem - hopefully today!

Jerrica is so pretty- I like her face better than the classic Jem mold-  both of the dolls are just so beautifully made- the details and accessories are simply stunning...  Even the boxes are absolutely gorgeous-     

The next dolls to be made are below- I have to think they will proceed with the plan to make them, given how instantly the first set was sold out...  I do hope they will make a few more- I hate the feeling of not being able to get one just because I missed the announcement by a day

It does seem odd- but I have a feeling they couldn't register the trademarks for Raya or Jetta?  Per http://totallyjem.jemmagic.com/jemdollshasbro.html (I know you can look up trademarks somewhere official- I forget exactly where that is but I do trust this source completely)

- it appears that Hasbro registered trademarks for a slew of Jem names in 2010 and 2011-  neither Raya or Jetta are on the list, so they probably won't be made into dolls at all...
