I've managed to fix Dancing Butterflies' chewed ear pretty nicely without any clay or sculpting material. However, I don't own any argies myself, so I'm not sure if their plastic reacts similary, and I can't quarantee this works in every case in regular ponies either.
I let the chewed part soak in very hot water for a while and then cool. The ear returned quite closely to its original shape, but still retained some bite marks. I carefully rubbed the plastic with very fine sand paper to smooth out those. You can still see some mark if you look closely, but the ear looks almost normal on display now.
Oh thank you so much for the idea, do you have any pics of DB to see how it looks after?
Thank you for the kind comments guys I'm really proud on how she turned after the cleaning
Sorry, I'm a bit late but got finally a change to take picture of Butterflies.
