Wait, this is on Syfy?

...does the host at least dress as a collection abducting martian?

There are a LOT of shows on Syfy that don't make sense right now.

This sounds like a really interesting show. What time and channel does it come on?

I suppose its on Syfy because more or less the collections could fit as syfy material - star wars, transformers, comic books, etc.

My family has been watching it every week (on after face-off) ^_^ Its not too bad.. some of the people could really use better organization, I think the show should donate shelving or something lol.

But - the hot wheels / GI Joe guy did sell some things,
Spoiler
and bought display cases with some of the money.
The transformers guy was in deep debt and borrowing from his parents a lot. So far, the majority of collectors on the show have been in financial trouble or hindering their family, or in danger of losing their significant other over it.

A few of them have had goals and were set on a path to realize them (more rare stuff - #1 barbie, financial independence, or harmony in their home).

I do feel sorry for the people sometimes, but it ends up positive at the end. The star wars lady
Spoiler
sold like 1 ewok... lol that was kinda silly. But they said the couple had sold a few other things since the show.

Its interesting for me since I have always collected very casually and just recently began getting all serious about it. :P

It is good to watch the show and remind myself to narrow my pony purchases down to the few ponies I really want at the moment. Last week it was a set of Newborn twins, a couple weeks before I really wanted a Happy Tails pony, right now I think It'd be nice to find a Glow n show I could afford. :P
