Hello!
I'm Athena and I'm from a small town in the East Riding of Yorkshire :3
I'm 18 and I'll be starting my third year of college this september.
I'm doing a 3D Design course as art and design is a passion of mine and has always come so naturally to me and (after doing a year of sciences aiming to be a doctor) I've finally decided that I want to make a living out of it.
I don't know all that much about ponies to be honest, I have a lot of them though, mostly the early 80's ones and old playsets like a ballet school, the castle and perfume shop. Sadly due to my parents divorce and moving house/lack of space they've been sat (taking up my entire wardrobe) in my old room neglected.
I keep saying I'll get them out and sort them all out but never get round to it. I need to soon because my dad has been eyeing them up, saying they'll be worth a bit of money now. Despite not touching them in a couple of years, my entire childhood is in that wardrobe so if he so much as looks at them I'm going to disown him..
The collection is mostly older G1 ponies but I have some of the magnetic hoofed ones, the 'reboot' version before FIM.
Anyway..
I got my first pony when I was young, about 3, and I've been collecting them ever since! I remember finding most in charity shops and car boot sales.
I've been customising (repairing, repainting, rerooting, modifying etc) Monster High dolls for about a year now and despite collecting ponies for the best part of 15 years now I've never customised one! Haha
Once I've sorted them out I may find a couple of broken spares to practise on.
I don't know if I'll be on here much due to starting college again soon, but I want to try my best to find out more about this ol' obsession of mine
