I'm a customizer AND an accessory junkie so yeah, I might as well just sign over access to my bank account to Hasbro.

(and swapped out Lulu Luck for Sweetie swirl, taped it back up expertly and gave it to my daughter, .. who loves Lulu and the set to this day!   although some day she is going to figure it out.  )

There's just something about that hat and Cheerilee. I don't know how to put it exactly, but it seems to scream out "caring teacher!" when it's on Cheerilee's head.

I'm definitely a sucker for this. I'm also a total completionist when it comes to G4, so that doesn't make it any better.

All other gens, I'm really good about only getting ponies. But with g4... I want all their little accessories and playsets! So buying sets for the playsets and accessories I'll also do in addition to the special edition ponies.

So did I!  I try not to buy too many repeats of the Mane 6, but I just had to pick up Rarity and Twilight just for the dresses and bouquets

I got the Bridesmaid Fluttershy, but at list it was free when I bought talking Cadance at one of TRUs BOGO sales, so I couldn't feel TOO bad. Still, she's my third Fluttershy... This is getting rather silly.

I usually resist.  I am much happier with the original product than re-releases, and I have no desire to have multiples of the same character.    On occasion though I will fall for the hat.  What I usually can't help is getting a play set because of a new character even if I don't want the playset.

I know! I need outfits to fill up the carousel boutique after all. I also like dressing up non-main 6 characters in outfits. Cherry pie looks really really beautiful in pinkie's dress. Starbeam twinkle is rocking rarity's dress, and no one but fluttershy looks good in her own dress!

I'm not one for buying the same G4 over and over again just because of an accessory or bit of tinsel/glitter and this seems to be something that my daughters are picking up on too as they would rather have a different pony or something from another toy line completely instead of another rerelease.

However as a mother of three pony loving girls rereleases aren't all that bad as they each have their own set of mane 6 which they can tell apart who's is who's by the tiny difference of bangs/hair shade/glitter/tinsel/pose. I understand Hasbro wanting the mane 6 available at all times but I think additional ponies need to be released along side too. Core7 almost killed ponies for my 8yr old and all three of them are opting for other things to spend their pocket money on with no alternative ponies for them to chose from.
