Salutations everyone!
I have been lurking around, waiting for a chance to jump in and join!
I'm just super excited to be a part of this wonderful community after noticing how much hard work you all put into restoring and keeping up with all the ponies! (And of course how much fun you all must be having)
I just finished my BA in Classics, live in the hot region of AZ and consider my family and my boyfriend, as well as his family, the most important and have a few close friendships that I cherish.
I myself as a child played with Polly Pockets, Barbies, many horse toys, and video games, including those Tamagotchi and Nano pets. I know I had some ponies too but they have vanished over the years. Fortunately I do still have my Polly Pockets!
I began to revive an interest in ponies with the newest line, G4 FIM. It all started with those McDonalds toys and my boyfriend's niece. Pretty soon Applejack and shine bright Pinkie Pie were on my birthday cake in March.
Now I have fallen in love 100% it seems!
My boyfriend thrifts for vintage cameras as he uses film as a preferred medium and so I started to tag along and ended up finding some older ponies!
I absolutely love the G1s, I think they are just beautiful. (I adore those Teeny Tiny ones! What sweet faces
)
I found my first G2 the other day in box at a resale shop, I think it's Sky Skimmer? Yellow and pretty! (I almost yelped, I was so stoked)
There are many more G3s out there but I know that I can always gift some to my boyfriend's niece. (Her mother and I also spot sales and let the other know! Silly Target seems to not keep inventory once it reaches 50% clearance.....)
Anyway! Sorry to rant, I'm shy and overexcited.
