Hello again my pony-pals! I dropped out of pony collecting 2 moves ago, but recently decided that I hated the thought of my ponies being cooped up in my spare bedroom so I am going to thin the herd by selling my extras and I am sure I will be buying ones I'm still missing and upgrading some and displaying them...until my next move this winter! I figured I'd better get back on the pony boards and figure out what's going on in ponyland these days! I've cringed seeing those G4's in the store; they make my G1's and 3's seem all the more wonderful and special to me.

Williamsburg, VA, USAI'm a native Floridian, but have lived in Newport News, VA for most of my life. I have also lived near Nags Head, NC. I recently moved to Williamsburg and will be moving again to who knows where this winter!
Do you work or attend school? Profession or major?
I'm a housewife and have been for about 8 years or so now. I love it because I can really get into whatever hobbies I'm wanting to. I usually spend my days playing video games (PC and Xbox 360 mostly) and taking care of our pets and house.
Who are the important people in your life?
My husband! He works out of state most of the week so we kinda cram life into the weekends. We have been married for almost 11 years now. He supports my pony habit
The rest of my family consists of our 2 birds, a 12 year old Cockatiel named Weaver and a 13 year old Quaker named Yoda, our 6 yr old dutch rabbit named Duchess(a rescue), our 12 year old Bombay cat named Ani (short for Anakin and also a rescue), our 4 12 year old parrotfish, our 10 year old jade goby and raphael catfish, our 2 betta's named Winterveil and Beta, and our 2 Otocinclus. I know it's a bit odd to name pets and fish and such as important people but when they've been our companions for as long as they have, they are like family!

How long have you been collecting?
I think it was 2007 when I first rediscovered MLP and other retro toys and joined several related websites and forums.
Which generations of ponies do you collect? G1, G2, G3 or G4?

I had real ponies when I was a kid but my neighbor friend had My Little Ponies! I always wanted one but mama said that I had real ponies to play with so I just played with my friend's and watched the cartoon. When I was almost a teenager my mom got me Firefly and Gingerbread at the thrift store and a new Pretty Vision. I loved them and still have them somewhere at my mama's house. I am a very sentimental person and one night I had a dream about Rose Petal Place and that got me thinking about all those old (great) toys and characters.
Tell us about your collection!
I would estimate that I have 1000+ MLP. They are all up in my spare room at the moment. The room is full of totes of ponies and sets. I have mostly MIB G3's and good quality G1's. I also have several sets and other miscellaneous items.
I also collect Rose Petal Place, Care Bears, Strawberry Shortcake, Seawees, and random other bits from that era.
