Very interesting, Ember. I was the person who sold you the Spanish Masquerade on Ebay, and I actually remember seeing the one you already had here on the forum and thinking the eyes looked so different to my girl! Quite extraordinary that the hair is different as well... specially considering that she was a shop-bought pony, nothing supposedly different or special about her (I had no idea until I started investigating on the internet).


Beautiful job at the hairdresser's, by the way, it's so wonderful to see that's she's so well taken care of ^^

BTW, as to the height difference between them... one actually looks slightly bigger than the other, this might be a wild idea but I wonder if it might have to do with different climate and surroundings and the plastic contracting or expanding? I suppose the easiest explanation is that different moulds were used.

Yes certainly she is super different.  She did clean up quite nicely I think.
It really is a unique opportunity to compare side by side  to see exactly how they differ.


Why they differ so much is another story all together. I hope one day we find out. Wish
we knew some former spanish toy factory employees.
