Holly's curls were so long I did them with fat knitting needles and boiling water poured over them.  I wish I would have gotten a pic of their full length, they were a few inches past the edge of this picture.

Opal was my first merpony and first attempt at a boil perm.  Her curls were done with perm rods.  I liked that they came out so loose.
