No budget here ;) with my ex I always had to watch what I spent or explain etc..... Now
 I earn my own money and have no one to answer to, no joint account or anything so I spend what I please and that's just the way I like it :)

I got lucky, sort of: I got into ponies just at the age where I'm easing off thinking "MUST HAVE!!" and starting to think "why do I have so much STUFF?!" If I were to get seriously into buying ponies, I'd have to find something to do with all the Animaniacs, anime, and Hello Kitty stuff that's already in boxes that I don't have a place for...so no, I haven't had to budget for ponies.

It all depends what kind of a collector you are. If like me you are a sucker for Nirvanas then perhaps you may only be able to afford one or two AMAZING ponies a year. Regular collectors can manage to buy a greater volume for the same price. Horses for courses -I guess!!

I don't really have a budget, but I feel like I have a pretty good control of where my money goes. Easter Sunday I had some amazing tips from quite a few party tables, so my extra little spending money went to ponies. I always make sure that I have enough for things like food and gas, so I feel pretty confident about my money management these days so it doesn't really worry me.
