McDs free pony toy with doll, 1998.

There is an auction just come up for a Tiny Tears type doll which was a McDs toy. It says it came with a free MLP mini figure. This legend is stuck over the original print on the box with a sticker - not unusual as it is easier to print out a few thousand stickers than to print out a few thousand new boxes.

I am assuming since it says 1998 it was a G2 McDs pony, but can anyone give me any details as to who please? It's not going to keep me awake tonight but I would love to know who it was.

It's a mini g2 Sundance toy! I bought that silly McDonald's doll just for the pony in the 90s!! The same pony figure was offered with the PC game for a limited time! She has a molded mane and a purple tail that's brushable! She's different than the actual McDonald's g2 Sundance in that she's harder plastic, printed eyes with no gems and a little smaller. Her hair is also all purple.

I think I remember that doll.  It was sold in regular stores and it was McDonalds themed, with a pretend Happy Meal.  It came with a surprise toy for the Happy Meal:  either Play Doh, a LPS elephant, or a small G2 Sundance. 

She was actually different from the "real" McDonalds G2 Sundance.  Very nice molding.  She had a molded mane and a brushable tail.

I think the same Sundance toy was included in something else too.  Maybe with the G2 computer game?

So I just got a double figure Sundance in the mail. AND SHE'S DIFFERENT

She's slightly bigger and had a molded tail (mine's broken off). Her plastic is different and she's got more noticable seam on her mold. One sided symbol. Plus she's got a copyright on her belly with a website on it which is... Swiss? Now I'm confused Anyone else have her?

edit: I checked out the website They're still making mlp items for Hasbro!
