Hard to turn down a good deal
« on: August 17, 2016, 08:25:02 PM »
Does anybody else find it ridiculously hard to turn down a good deal on ponies? I'm just starting my collection and have been offered 30 g1s for $65. How do I turn that down when there are still so many ponies I need?!

I couldn't turn that down. I would take it and sell ones I don't want to recover costs and then it's like getting ponies for free!

I love cheap ponies lots of opportunity to build my collection and pass others on for better then collector prices. I resell or trade the ones I don't need. and to nice acquaintances and good friends I pass on the savings even more- pretty much what I paid or sometimes free(good friends). make others happy getting ponies for a couple bucks that would cost far more online. If the lot is too far away for my effort- do I know someone local to it that would be THRILLED? then I send them a link to the listing so someone nice gets to them and not some random ebay seller that'll just sell them back to "us" for $$$.

Oh yes, it's always nice when you bag a bargain - especially when it's a pony you've been seeking for a long time! :)

Ahahaha, deals like that are why I have a whole shed full of ponies I need to sell.   /o\

Even if there isn't any pony I want, and especially if they are on a local site or something where I don't think any other collectors will spot them, if I can afford them I tend to buy them.  I don't really plan on making money off them (they're usually all bait), but I just want to get them into collector's hands, haha!

I'd go for it and trade or sell the doubles for ponies you need.  :)

I'm so glad I'm not alone in this lol! I think as long as shipping isn't too crazy expensive I'm going to go for it!

Turning down deals... nah! Maybe that's why in one month I brought home 3 Cotton Candy's (I really really really really don't need more of her). No self control here... LOL.
