Random Act of Pony Kindness <3

A bit of back story first:
When I was in high school/early college I had collected a fair bit of G3 ponies, but a series of really crappy circumstances lead to me having to sell a lot of my belongings, including my ponies. I was fairly ok with getting rid of most of them since I had just picked them up along the way, but it hit me kinda hard when I had to get rid of the first pony I ever bought, G3 Morning Glory.

Flash forward to a few years later, my husband and I are doing well again, and my pony scavenging has picked back up as well. About a week ago I mentioned on a thread here that I had lost my first pony and vowed to get her back someday, maybe not soon, but someday. Next thing I know (literally 10 mins later XD), the absolutely awesome and lovely Tak mentions to me she had an extra Morning Glory and would be willing to send her to me!! I nearly jumped through the roof XD We exchanged the necessary info and a few days later, little Miss Morning Glory shows up as a bright ray of sunshine on an otherwise gloomy, rainy day (like, it was pouring as I ran to the mailbox and the grocery store  >_<).

Anywho, I took some pics to commemorate the occasion, cameos from Yui, the Pure Neemo/Volks hybrid and my cat's leg, lol.

So my first Morning Glory was a newer one without the magnet, so the fact that I can stick this one all over the place endlessly amuses me, so here's Morning Glory hanging out  :facepalm: with my favorite rad thrift store finds :3

What a lovely RAOPK.  I don't have Morning Glory in my collection yet, she is such a pretty girl!!  Congrats (and big ups to Tak)  :cheer:

G3 Morning Glory is such a gorgeous pony! :heart: I love the sunrise colored gradient up her leg and how her cutie mark travels along the gradient like its using her leg as a "wall" for its vines. My grandparents use to have actual morning glories that trailed up their veranda and the side of their house and that's pretty much what they'd do. :) Also: always awesome to be reunited with a beloved toy / collectible that we didn't want to part with in the first place. Congrats!

G3 Morning Glory is one of my favorites too! I Don't have her yet but she looks so lovely, a defenite want! Lucky you getting to see your pony again, such a sweet story :heart:

That's what I loved about her cutie mark too ^^ Makes me want to collect all the other gens of Morning Glory, haha X3 And it really is pretty cool to have her in my collection again, without her it felt like I just had a bunch of ponies, but with her it feels like the collection is mine again, if that makes sense  :blush:

What a thoughtful gift, congrats on getting MG back in your collection! I also love sticking the G3s to things, hold memos on the fridge, chill out on the lamp, they are versatile haha XD

Aww, your Morning Glory is so cute! That's an amazing gift. I'm so happy you're doing better now, and are able to begin collecting ponies again! And I knew I wasn't the only one who loved the ponies who have magnets...  :silly:
