When I missed the sign-up time for the Arena holiday swaps, I asked if anyone would be willing to do a private swap with me. I was super lucky to get two people to respond, and here's my brag thread for the SO LOVELY box I got from tulagirl!!
The story of the box arriving is a funny one. I have a weekly writing group that I meet with after work, and we usually hang out for a while after our meetings, so I usually get home around 11pm on Thursday nights. Well I wasn't expecting my box to arrive but when I tiptoed into the house at close to midnight, I was super happy to find a giant box on my kitchen table!
Yaaaay box! Even though I should have gone to bed, instead I tore into the box.

loginI apologize for the bad quality of my phone camera, but YAY PONIES!! I totally love all three of these ponies. First I'm so glad I was able to own Octavia Melody without having to buy the creepy Equestria Girl ponies.
(Sorry if you like them, I just have a thing about dolls...) She is so much prettier in person than her photos online!! Her gray body paired with the pink and black hair is soooo gorgeous.
And yay for Buttonbelle! I like her cutie mark. And I loooove the Breezies (both G3 and G4!)...though I'm sad the ones in this set don't get white paint on their eyes.
0_0 RAINBOW DASH MERMAID!! -hugs her- I've been trying to find the G3 mermaids forever! It's surprisingly hard to find them at an affordable price these days... I'm so happy to have her, that even though I'm not a MIB collector, I haven't worked up the nerve to open the package yet.

loginSo what was in the blue box with a bow? Ahhhhh, a snowflake ornament! It's skillfully cut from a piece of wood. o.o It's so beautiful and delicate. I handle it very carefully. <3

loginThese two items are hand-made by tulagirl! I can hardly believe it, the are so awesome! The keychain has charms that are all the important things in my life. Dragons, butterflies, dragonflies, and a Japanese pagoda. (The bag in the last pic has info about the pagoda charm. It says "Pagodas have powers to keep away bad chi. It is used as a symbol to prevent illness.") The beads are my favorite colors, blue and purple.
The felt ornament is one of my favorite animals, the crow or raven. I love all birds and flying things, but crows and ravens are some of my faves. ^_^ I love this little ornament, thank you tulagirl!

loginI also got some lovely peacock feathers, which look great! I love decorating my room and crafts with them. And tumbled stones! Stones are awesome. So awesome. I have a large collection of them, and these guys are now going right in there along with all their stone friends. Haha. I have such fun identifying them! The blue and green ones on the bottom of the pic are howlite and crackle quartz, I believe. The perfectly round one at the top has many layers of blue in different shades, and it's called blue lace agate. ^_^
