Think I've been had on ebay :(
« on: November 07, 2015, 03:34:43 PM »
Feeing a little gutted right now :(
So I Won a G3 pony on ebay which I have wanted now for a very long time....(variant rainbow dash) I was thrilled and over the moon!
2 weeks later no pony :(
Messaged seller no response..
Nearly 2 and a half weeks now still no response and still no pony....
May have to accept that I'm not going to get my pony :(

Has anyone else ever been let down by a ebay seller?

at this point you might want to open a case with ebay/paypal.  to get your money back.

Yes unfortunately I think a lot of us have been let down by ebay sellers over the years :(  I'm sorry you didn't get your pony. I would definitely be opening a case now if I were you since you have no pony and the seller has not responded to your messages either . Unless the seller is in a different country then 2 1/2 weeks  is quite a delay. Sometimes items are delayed for this long or longer  (both internationally and also within the same country) ...but the lack of communication is what is more worrying than the time delay.
A case might prompt your seller to respond and reassure you or to send the pony (if they haven't already) . Sometimes it works. Other than that if the seller doesn't respond to the case then ebay will make sure you have a refund and you can leave the seller some honest feedback.
Please let us know how it goes

My mom and I used to buy a lot of stuff on ebay back in the day (10+ years ago). There were a few times that things never arrived and sellers just disappeared... it always sucks. Nowadays at least there is buyer protection but you still have to go through the trouble of doing it and it isn't going to bring you the merch that you wanted :( sorry that happened to you.

This happened to me many times to in the past. But I'm so thankful the eBay has revised how they do their selling and now offer protection.

Best of luck getting it sorted Harmony! File a claim and keep us posted.

It's always good to look at their feedback on other things they sold.
Hopefully everyone gets their money back...
