Please educate me on the HTF G1 ponies/accessories

Thanks for posting the pics! I don't think you have anything I need (although if you have the tiny utensils that went with the Estate, please let me know; also see my sig). I'm guessing the things your children most enjoy playing with are the least valuable. Most Pony Wear is worth very little; the bibs, bottles, larger PE accessories, Parlor hats, and birthday accessories also have little monetary value. If I were you I'd do a PC and then post for sale the crown clip, wands, small PE items, floats, Big Brother hats, ribbons, Glowworm, heart toppers, toothbrushes, teething ring, and maybe the rattles.

The small magenta crown clip in the middle along with the magenta wand & star pick are pretty big ticket - crown clips alone fetch ridiculous prices; 50$+ isn't uncommon.  I see some of the small Paradise Estate accessories (plates, milk carton, wine bottle, glasses) and the hot pink heart topper will also get lots of interest.  Complete stack toys, glow worm, first tooth pillow with tooth, toothbrushes, teething ring can be ~4-5$ each, construction hat / purple train hat / pink bandana for Big Brothers are also pretty high ticket - 10$ plus each, depending on condition.  Ribbons will be 1-2$ each, on average.

The party pack stuff tends to be pretty common - yellow cups, blue plates, cake, pin the tail on the pony game, "It's a Party!" blanket, lime balloon and blowers.  I wouldn't feel bad about giving a set of those to kids to play with at all myself.

I wouldn't say you have nothing but common stuff at all, plenty of that will get nice prices as individual pieces.

I Actually think Pony bride with accessories was htf. it took me a while to get her and not a cheap price too. Her ring was the hardest to find, next was the comb. But I managed to get all her accessories except her veil. Currently having to part with her (no regrets. i Want her to go to a good owner)so if anyone is interested in getting her (pony, cake, comb,ring) let me knoe

If I decided to sell a few things, is it better to sell the accessory with the pony it came with or by itself? My thought is maybe by itself since people may have the people already and just be looking for the accessory.  I may be willing to part with the princess stuff. My kids are all boys and they don't have a ton of interest in the princess ponies.

That's a good question. May depend on the pony. I think if the price were right, I'd be willing to get the set in order to get the accessory. Then id most likely keep the pony in better shape. But I know there are others here who can give a more certain answer.

Do you know what pony the blue clip in the wagon belongs to? I can't find it on any website. Wondering whether it's just a clip that I had as a child that I used on my ponies for fun. I have a bunch of goody's hair barrettes with the ponies too - but they aren't MLP.  Maybe I should take a photo of all the barrettes and clips for people to see to help me identify what is MLP and what is not.  Going through my stuff has turned out to be such a huge project!

I'm sorry, but that's not the clip. Here is a close up picture. I think it might just have been a regular little girl clip and not MLP. I think I used to put it on my seaponies because it had a shell on it.

That clip is not MLP - it's most likely to be Barbie or another 80's toyline.
