Those are some interesting results. Seems that most people hair products that work well on people work well on ponies.
I've had a few G4's that I've found secondhand and the hair was insanely messy, but no super knotted. It has some serious volume!
Small rubber bands work well for holding hair in place. They just need to be replaced on occasion because they dry out...

Hello Lyra, Why yes, hello to you to Lyra! Lyra haven't seen you in an age, how ya been? Have fun with all those ponies.

I personaly find that a couple times a month is the best way to take care of any brushable equines of mine, that way their hair looks good again and I won't frizz them up by brushing too much
