Hello I am new!  :lol: I'm Rocannon, and I am here as part of my ongoing quest to restore/repair/rediscover the My Little Ponies that I collected as a child. I'm amazed by how many resources there are for MLP care and cleaning on the interwebs. Cataloging, too -- there are far more ponies in the world than dreamt of in my philosophy! I finished the first round of restorations a while ago, and then took pictures of my collection. They're up on Tumblr... I'm kind of using Tumblr as a gallery, which may not be the best idea, but wev. It was easy. They're at http://myvintagepony.tumblr.com/ if you're interested. The responses I've gotten to Little Whiskers are particularly delightful.

But there are a few ponies who haven't been photographed yet. I only just found the missing frog float for my little Water Lily. Now that I have it, she's ready for her closeup.  :lol: The beddy bye eye ponies have been an insurmountable problem for me so far. I just can't get the rust out, their eyelashes have broken off, and they just look awful. But... they're some of my favorites! All of my baby unicorn ponies have beddy bye eyes.  :(

Anyway, hello! I expect I will mostly lurk, but I thought I'd say hi first.

What a wonderful blog you have for your ponies, I gave it a follow  ^.^ Best of luck with your future restorations, I wish I could offer some advice for your BBE troubles but hopefully someone else can. Enjoy the forums!

I'm planning to make a project of fixing up my collection and creating a sort of blog as a gallery/inventory as well. Good to know there are others doing the same! :good:
