Mia & Me - Are The Toys EVER Coming to US Stores?!

A (long) while ago, someone posted here about Mia & Me and Mattel's toy line.

I've since caught an episode here & there on tv, but have not heard/seen anything about the toy line since then (maybe this was last year?)

Anyway, has ANYONE come across these toys?

I haven't, but I want them to come over to the US badly. They are stunning toys. I'd have to buy them all.

Me being big on fantasy I was surprised how I didn't care much for the introduction to the series.  I would buy the white unicorn just because it looks like Amalthea from The Last Unicorn.

Wow I didnt even know there were toys made for Mia and Me! I would love to get one of Lyria and Onchao.

I have to think probably not. They are very expensive, so maybe they were made by a very small company.  I hope at some point to get one second hand, but don't hold out a lot of hope for that.

I wanna say it airs every evening on the Nick Jr. channel. I know when it first aired, it only played on Saturdays and Sundays, and I think a week or two ago, it had a marathon of the first eight episodes.

If the toys make it to the states, I could see them being a "Toys R Us exclusive " thing. That or maybe online/Amazon exclusive.  How much are the unicorns (or at least how much would be they in US dollars)? I am curious about this.

Well I just searched on Amazon.de and they still have a few up, and it looks like they are now discounted (from 29 Euro) to 24.98 Euros-  so that's about $32 USD.  Plus shipping of course.  SO it gets a bit pricey, assuming first of course that you manage to find someone willing to ship to you.

I wish TRU would pick up the line, the unicorns are really cute.  Or at least I wish amazon.de would ship to the U.S.

Gotta remember that European prices are pretty crazy tho. Blind Bags are like $6 over there and MH dolls are like $30-$40. I'm sure if the Unicorns make it over here they will be the same price as a Barbie horse.

Yeah, IF they ever make it to the U.S. (and I'm a little worried that they are already seeing clearance prices in Germany) they would probably be straight across $24 (that would be my guess based on pony pricing)
