New To the Arena - not new to ponies
« on: September 25, 2014, 03:53:35 PM »
I was born in 1985 and have been collecting ponies since I was a little girl. I have many ponies maybe 100, not many to some but I love them all. Many I grew up with and have much personal history with. I mainly joined the arena to find somebody to help me restore my collection. I don't know how to paint over pony cancer or remove the metal washers. I am too afraid to try and clean them myself and really want some help. I would be willing to hire a good G1 pony restorer so if you know any send them my way.

Thanks
Kate

Welcome to the arena :)

If the heads are loose or kind of coming lose you can take off the heads. Just don't tear the plastic. I use a needle nose pliers to grab the metal part that hold the tail in half. You can pull the tail out of the body threw the neck.  That is how I do it. I wish you lot of luck and you have joined a great site :)

Welcome to the Arena

100 ponies is a great collection, even more so as it sounds like many of them are from your childhood.  I hope you enjoy the forums!  :frolic:
