I'm very out of it...there's a White Celestia FS pony now?

My head is spinning.     I haven't been keeping up on ponies in the last few months, but scrolling through ebay yesterday, my account suggested some auctions based of my likes.  Low and behold there's a white Celestia who pops up.  And not just one, quite  a few!  I thought that she was only a prototype?  Have they finally realized her?  Info please.  FS G4's are the only ponies that I really collect nowadays and I've been pining for a white Celestia for quite some time.  =)  I know this is probably old news to most of you, and so sorry to be slow!  But if someone could clue me in that would be awesome.

She is a Walmart exclusive tied to the Rainbow Rocks movie, I believe!  She's still fairly new.

How much does she differ from the original prototype that was found on TaoBao?  Does anyone have pictures of the two of them together?

I'm *pretty* sure that the prototype has a lighter symbol color and has an aqua green stripe in her hair.

If you look back in the old Taobao thread sticked at the top of the Corral (you ll need to go to the previous one as it got too long and got replaced with a new one) there are some comparison images. But as others have said the symbols on her wings, eyes and her hair are the main differences as well as the glitter placement. Different enough to make the original prototypes still very special in their own way....but Celestia-white enough to ensure any one who wants a white FS Celestia can get one. Perfect combo I think.

They are different-  eye shape/size, hair color/texture- head mold looks slightly different :

It's harder to tell in the photos- but the prototype White Celestia actually has 4 different colors in her mane-  the regular pink Celestia and the new white Celestia, have only three colors.

The nylon hair feels really different too.  The new pony hair feels very plastic and is quite shiny, the prototype has soft  hair that is is not shiny...

I don't see any differences in the body type- except the new pony has these TERRIBLE "notes" that appear to be decals that were glued and then sealed onto the pony's wings - both sides. They are REALLY hard to remove, even with acetone...

It is not impossible to get them off, just very difficult. I don't know what they were thinking...
