Question About Hot Topic's Ship to Store (Funko Ponies)

I'm not sure if I picked the right forum...

I was curious how the ship-to-store option works.  Has anyone used it?  I was wondering if the packaging is clearly marked that it's a customer's order and not general stock.

I picked ship-to-store on my latest order of Funko ponies and got the wild idea that the employees may open my order and take out any glitters that may be included.

Silly, huh?  But....what if?!

I used it for my Funkos - and for pony merch in general as my HT rarely carries merch in stores anymore.  Anyhow, it's addressed directly to you in your own separate box, so they just set it aside and wait for you to pick it up.

I used it and did wonder about the exact same thing, but the packages were clearly marked and sealed , i did open the boxes on my last trip and they placed them in bags for me to carry them out and they kept all the boxes , it was nice and easier to carry them that way .

I've done it once for a Pop figure that wasn't in stock at the store, but didn't get any order updates until the hold was about to expire!

It was in a sealed bag, like if you got it in the mail. I think it'd be obvious if someone tampered with it.
