Hello Everypony

Hello Everypony!  So I never know what to say on these things I either feel like I'm unloading a TON of info or not giving enough but anywhooo here goes    So HI my name is Highelf I've been into mlp since I was a kid growing up watching the cartoon.  I had a few of the older ponies when I was a kid and loved collecting toys for as long as I can remember buuuut unfortunately I suffered a lapse in sanity about 10 or so and decided my friends and family who were telling me I needed to grow up and get rid of my toys knew more about me than I did so I got rid of about 90% of my toys at that time and really really tried to get into girly stuff like purses and shoes but thankfully I rebounded quickly, told them all where to shove it and promptly started collecting toys and playing in the woods again.    Sadly I never regained any of those old toys    but I did start some new collections which include the G4 brushables and blindbags and here recently Equestria Girls.  I also started collecting a lot of other lines: Barbie, Disney Princess/Fairies, Monster High, Winx Club, Sailor Moon, Star Wars & LOTR action figures and many more (too many)  I also like modding dolls, if I'm not re-rooting or painting dolls I'm most likely sketching, painting, writing, or hiking.  I live in a relatively small area so I enjoy meeting other fans/collectors wherever I can.  I'm 27 yet act like 7    I'm married to the love of my life; no kiddos yet I'm still at that point where it's like "Aww a baby just smiled at me now I want, Nope, now it's crying Nope!" but maybe my clock will start ticking louder in the future...I'll have plenty of toys for it to play with    So I think that's pretty much me in a nutshell, a rather large nutshell like a coconut nutshell...

What an interesting introduction.  I'm sorry you parted with your childhood ponies!  Hopefully you can find some nice replacements for them now that you are here.  As well as ponies, I also have a large collection of Star Wars and LOTR figures.  I look forward to seeing you around the forums

Welcome to the Arena! I love your introduction! Its always great to get to know someone.

I have been there and done that with childhood toys - except it was my mum who gave all mine away. Thankfully a couple of decades later I reverted back to that 7 year old and pony collecting began. Age is immaterial in toy collecting after all.
