I just have them scattered around my room. I have one "pony" shelf with my childhood ponies above my desk while others are displayed with books and ornaments :)

I use the Pax Wardrobe system from Ikea for my pony room. They're really big and had choices for depths and widths so I could mix-and-match for my room dimension.  The sliding doors are separate, and they don't carry ones with transparent glass.   So the downside is my collection isn't on full display, but I kind of like it that way.

I've got my herd in a large videogame cabinet I picked up at a KayBee Toys that was closing for good. It's eight ft tall, about four feet wide and has adjustable shelving, lights glass doors and locks! There's a large strage compartment underneath it where I store comics, books, and seasonal ponies and pony items. I paid only $150 for it but I had to haul it out myself in two pieces, six city blocks and up three flights of stairs! Totally worth the sore limbs... My ponies are safe and happy in their glass encasement ^_^

That sounds amazing! (also RIP KB Toys) Got any pics?

Yezzim' I do! Sorry should have posted yesterday, was being lazy! Photobucket library is slow as molasses to load on my tablet.

OMG it's a lamp?!  A custom right?  I want one of those enormous ponies something fierce- the trick is finding a place to put one

My cabinets definitely are full of parties... they start out as nice pretty diorama type displays- then a few more sneak in, then a few more, then a few more....

So my brother is in trouble...it turns out some of my book cases have replacement shelves for reasons I dont care to go into but he is never allowed near a hammer again. ROFL - he never thought he would get caught but then had to confess when I started taking multiple shelves out and comparing and getting grumpy :P
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi

Custom/OOAK/Art Piece, yep! Pony Project 2005, by Readymade.

The other two are also Pony Project art ponies :) Pony Project is one of my favorite things to collect, I enjoy art and I love it when "MLP inc." interacts with the public!

Ok you guys with ikea billy bookcases, during assembly is the back a seperate piece? I am wanting these in black, but I want to paint the inside back so it is not so dark.

Yes- EVERYTHING Ikea has comes completely apart- and fits into nice slim boxes.

Eternia, yes the back is separate. It's actually a cardboard piece that slides into the frame.

IKEA Billy bookcases in white here, as well. I made risers out of balsa wood & covered them in white fabric. Here's an old pix, but one I had in photobucket already. ;)

My pony shelves are a big mish mash of various pieces of furniture - stuff we got for other purposes but no longer need for those. I have a couple kitchen pantries (a single and double), DVD shelf, and then a couple pieces we've picked up since - a ladder style shelf, and an Expedit shelf/desk combo from IKEA (so I have a craft table in there as well).

Really need to take pics, lol.
