Feeling So Blessed

This year has been a long struggle for my husband and I. We were pushed to the brink by our former landlords to move from our home early this year. Our home constantly flooded from the rain and the thawing snow. It damaged most of our belongings including our christmas tree, which had mould growing on it so we had to throw it away.

Flash forward to the present.

We got home from christmas celebrations last night to a letter from the owner of our building saying there was a box for my husband and I in the main office. We got home late so we went to get it today. The box had a note attached to it from all the families in our building. They heard about how much we were struggling this year and they chipped together and bought us a brand new christmas tree. I feel so blessed that I ended up bawling my eyes out.
