Hello Pony lovers,
I watched the documentary 'Bronies; The Extremely Unexpected Adult Fans of my Little Pony.' I thought it was wonderful and it made me start thinking about my pony collection.
I remember getting the 6 first original ponies as a little girl. I collected for a few more years after that but then I guess I moved on to other things like boys! Luckily, my mom kept all those original ponies in storage for me! She took an inventory of them for me then I was off to ebay!
I am an Architect in Tucson AZ. I am familiar with ComicCon (San Diego isn't that far) and saw some of the Ponycon and Art ponies and had to have them. They are truly works of art. I guess they are my favorite and really got me back into collecting them. I don't collect any other toys.
So now I am fleshing out my G1 collection (earlier years), some G3's (mainly ones that are rare or unusual, have gradient painting on legs, or just appeal to me). I am also buying the G4's as they come out (only the standard size ones with hair) they aren't my favorite but i respect they have renewed interest in MLP.
Nice to meet all of you!
Sophie
