Such a thing as to much pony?
« on: November 14, 2013, 01:36:26 AM »
Okay, so i'll admit, i'm addicted to ponies. It's a sugary, rainbowy addiction, but an addiction none the less. Anyone ever feel like they sometimes have to much pony fun? Is their such a thing? Are we all unknowingly creating a new kind of drug? These are the questions, peopleā€¦
There is always another rainbow, somewhere 'round the bend

There's no such thing a too much pony fun! Well, I guess if you go deeply into debt from buying ponies, rob a bank to pay off your bills, and end up in jail you might have a problem. Remember, everything in moderation, kids!

Hehe, pretty much! Just try to pace yourself... sometimes I get ponied out and I need to take a break from grooming, cataloging, shopping...

Wow, no offense intended at all Roseprincess1, but maybe you should just take a deep breath. This post was clearly meant as just a light-hearted and fun thread. ;)

Ok, so my answer to the OP is you can never have too much pony! Unless they're taking up more space than you in your house, then maybe at that point you might have a problem. ^-^

There is definitely something like too much ponies :silly: At least for me - I like to gather stuff, so I needed a nice, small wishlist and I'm trying to stick to it so I won't go overboard. And get broke :silly:

Sometimes I feel overwhelmed by my collection and wonder where and when it all started and if I could ever stop :P My mom thinks I spend way too much on ponies, but I told her she should be glad I don't collect nirvanas :silly:

Or collect MIB ponies! O_o

Hehe, I only have three nirvanas (all Poseys) and none of them were more than $25. The price of most nirvanas makes me a sad pony. XD

Too much pony? Ha! No such thing for my case! xD I live and breathe my little pony now, I will admit it! I keep checklists handy to keep track of everything I want. Sometimes its hard to sacrifice sales for bills, but I have some restraint. As soon as its payday, back to the store! xD As soon as i get home I take them out, play with them for a while, watch the show, then pass out on my bed- covered in pony plushies! I even dream in pony sometimes....im still waiting for that miracle dream where its all cartoony and I turn into Lightning Twirl and journey through ponyville! LOL!

*looks at room filled with ponies...all staring back at her*

No such thing as too much pony! :P

However, I do think sometimes it can become a little too intense. As silly as it sounds you are best to set yourself manageable goals for your collection which you can achieve with time, investment and research. As you reach a goal - create a new one. That means your collecting is always different, always varied but never so over whelming you need to walk away.

And of course have fun. Whether it be buying a new pony for your collection or simply posting on the Arena and meeting new collectors...have fun with it and try to never let it take over completely.

Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi
