I remember calling around to stores to see if they were in yet.  When the line first came out I mean.  And that the day I first found them was June 12th 2003 :). I bought one of each that day, of the first wave. Well I still buy one each of all the new ones, but never mind that. It was my friends birthday or I might not remember the date!  I had missed ponies being in stores here so I was so excited to have them again.  I had been ordering g2's from overseas to get new ponies so being able to buy them in stores again was great.

I remember someone posting on Moonshadow's message board that their father had been contacted by Hasbro to make My Little Pony stickers. It was one of the first rumors that the G3 ponies were coming out. When the ponies reached stores, I went with my friend and sister and even took a picture. I forget who we got that day -- I think it was Rainbow Dash. She was one of the prettiest, I thought. Autumn Sky was also really pretty. And the ponies with glitter (can't remember what they're called). We collected many of the G3s, but my sister (who is a little younger than me) was into them more than I was. I grew up with the G1s, and then I also was in high school at the time and was starting to collect less. But I liked Baby Bellaluna and many of the babies, and I wanted this blue pony with long pink hair to be her mother . . . lately I've wondered who that was. Maybe I'll still buy her if I see her someday. :)
