Hi there
I am a new member here at the MLP arena and I would like to say hello and tell a little bit about myself.
My name is Therese, I am 34 years old and I live in Norway. I have a masters degree in biology (ecology) and I also have recently finished my teacher education. I am currently a student in special pedagogy and a substitute teacher.
I have two children, a five year old boy and a three year old girl. We have two cats and a bunny rabbit as companion animals.
I got my first MLP when I was 4 or 5 years old, and Windy was her name. The most beautiful of them all
Unfortunately I lost my first Windy a few years later (under very mysterious circumstances)
I had the MLP stable and the beauty saloon and about 20 ponies as a child (including Lickety-Split, Firefly, Sundance, Bow Tie, Flutterbye and some others). I played A LOT with my ponies and some of them look like they have lived hard lives, wearing tons of marker pen make up and what not
I have kept all my childhood ponies in a box in the attic at my parents house for a long time, and brought them down a couple years ago for my kids to play with them. I then realized I just had to get a new Windy, and that is when I started collecting again... And it is such great fun! :-D (even though my family thinks I have gone crazy)
I now have a collection of about 150 G1 MLPs and counting... eBay has got its grip on me...
I only collect G1 ponies, because I think they are the cutest and most adorable creatures ever
I almost have all the MLPs from the first few years, and I particularly love Rainbow ponies, unicorns and Pegasus ponies. The Rainbow Curl Ponies are gorgeous and the Twinkle Eye Ponies are so nice (they are also my 5 year old sons favorite ponies).
Some of my favorite ponies except from Windy is Parasol, Moonstone, Glory, Merriweather, Skylark, Moondancer and Applejack
