MLP Resume
« on: September 06, 2013, 10:55:43 AM »
I'm not sure if this has already been posted, but have you seen this resume? My friend sent this link to me. I think the person did a great job on it. Not sure I would actually use it, but entertaining nonetheless!  :P

This is really cute, but as much as I love ponies, I don't think I would be able to take this guy seriously. Ponies are wonderful, but it's not really the best idea to bring them into your professional life unless there is a specific niche for them.
Will always trade for limited edition/90s Pikachu stuff!

I think I'd want to see what kind of person would send this, and that's exactly why they did it. Attention. Like hte guy who printed his resume on a candy bar wrapper.

I assumed that was a joke.

Me too.

Me three.  I honestly laughed when I saw how many down in the comments were taking it so dead seriously.  XD

That's funny- my wife showed me that this morning.  I think it was a joke too... although I guess you never know.

There are some things that, no matter how awesome they are, don't belong on a resume.

My resume has characters drawn by me from my writing.
With that being said though, I apply at work places that deal with literature, books or art. Not with computers.

I really like it.  It would obviously not work with every job (especially with the negative stereotypes around bronies at the moment) but it could work. Back in my job hunting days I had a really weird looking resume, and I rarely didn't get an interview, because people liked that it wasn't the same as everyone else's.  A pony one could work for something like a toy store, a comic shop, or even in something like IT if it was a company that valued creativity.

I think its funny and very well done! But I am assuming done for a giggle as well :) I work in advertising, we like creativity but even we would put that in the "no" bundle if it was real :P
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi
Loa is my love god!
I love Loa more than PonyLady!
