I know, Ebay is so confusing.

My first message in this topic, I meant to say that I won't write "untested" but I was going to say as-is. I see now why that could be problematic.

I believe in 100% honesty and I will present my auctions like this

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Super-Mario-All-Stars-Super-NES-1993-AS-IS-/221267157878?pt=Video_Games_Games&hash=item33848ce376

I'm about to list our broken Keurig on Ebay and you can bet its as is! LOL. NEVER GET A KEURIG.  I'm openly stating its "broken and for parts."

This is one game I have and it doesn't have a pin broken but I'm going to state "AS IS, NOT TESTED I DON'T HAVE A CONSOLE."

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Battletoads-for-NES-BROKEN-AS-IS-Blown-pin-on-board-for-repair-/171099361625?pt=Video_Games_Games&hash=item27d6511159

I have one Wii game that I CAN test and then I'll test the Call of Duty game before I list it.  My Xbox games look pretty nice in condition and I will try to clean the NES and Genesis cartridges. Might just combine them as one lot "AS IS UNTESTED" and get rid of them all at once.

Those are all good ideas for listing the items. It's honest and not misleading :) Such a good ebay seller  :)

It's freaking ebay lol. I mean c'mon this is the auction site where sellers can't even leave negative feedback! >.<

I thought ebay changed their policy, soif a seller clearly states something in their listing and the buyer complains about something they were well aware of prior to the purchase then ebay sides with the seller.

There are tons of listings for electronics sold as is.

See this is why ebay is so confusing lol

While it is always good to look at ended listings, they may not always apply to what you are listing. I suggest as I did before, as so did others that you state the games have not been tested. I would completely refrain from stating~ as is-no returns. It does not matter in Ebays eyes that that is written. If your buyer opens a case they will make you accept a return.

But you can list it as you wish  :) I am merely offering a suggestion to keep you from having any issues.

I would be afraid of the person telling you that the game doesn't work and then sending you a broken one and keeping your game. Is there any way to identify the ones you're selling?

I thought of this too, I properly wouldn't sell unless you could test them some how, there is so many nightmare stories about selling on ebay and selling untested stuff is like opening a can of worms... ebay is not very nice to sellers theses days :  /
