Funko Vinyl Ponies ~ Curious about Fluttershy facing left

So as of right now I only have 1 funko pony, it's Lyra. However I've been looking at everyones pictures and it's occured to me that all of them face to the right except for Fluttershy.

Has anyone else noticed this or wondered why?

It irks me, especially because I keep all of my ponies MIB so once I aquire more of those funkos, it's going to drive me crazy that she's the only one that faces to the left lol.

Yeah I was hoping Bon Bon and Pinkie would have faced left as well.. Not sure why really partially best side to show cutie mark and way to fit in the box? I just wish the cutie mark was on both sides so you could pick what side you wanted..

My guess is the hair style.  The hair is covering her face on the right side.  If she had her cutie mark on the same side, she wouldn't be very interesting to look at.

It seems that we will be seeing DJ Pon3 facing to the left!  Maybe Octavia too...

Yes I am guessing its probably down to the pony's styling. Funko really try to aim for a 3D version of how the pony is most often 2D represented. So for that reason they have to style the hair in one direction and that almost always creates a natural "display side" which in turn is most likely to have the symbol.

Good answers guys, honestly I had never thought about the hairstyles being the reason that the ponies are displayed the way that they are. I can't wait to get more soon

I don't think they chose the side the cutie mark is on based on what side looks better, at least not on most of them. Most of them look better displayed on the NDS. Like Bubblebutt for example. I think she looks better on the side without her cutie mark because of how her hair looks. Same with Pinkie. There are others, I just can't think of them at the moment.
