I love finding charming eBay non-collectors to talk to!

EDIT TO UPDATE: Whee! She replied, 4 ponies in total. 1 Fakie, 2 G1s and 1 G3. I'm going to try and get the MLPs, and list for trade here one of the G1s, and the 1 G3. I just want to keep one of the G1s, amazingly, she's one important one on my wishlist, not rare, but UK exclusive.

Recently, I bought a lot from a non collector stuffed with fakies (there was an ID thread up for them) and it contained two HTF UK G1s, one being Sweet Delight (there is a thread about sun fading her currently here in the corral!)
Anyway, I emailed the seller after leaving feedback to thank her for such a lovely lot, explaining that I purchased the lot for the two genuine ponies of the lot, and telling her how they have been through the spa and will be in a forever loving home. She responded a few minutes ago saying her daughter was very happy to hear they were being cared for, and that she had some more ponies that she wanted to send me photos of to check if I wished to purchase them. I'm so flattered, considering she could have just stuck them up on eBay straight away, but her daughter was obviously impressed by the fact that I'm a young collector who loves her ponies, and she wanted to give me the chance to choose if I want any.

I reckon there will be lots of fakies again, so if anyone wants some, let me know, but I'm hoping there will be more ponies, hopefully UK ones! If there is a Peachy, I won't want her, so if there is and you want one, please post below and if there is, I'll get her for you cheap.

Im so excited and hopeful! Never had someone let me get to choose ponies from them before! Wish me luck!

Aww thank you, I'm really excited. After all, even if there are none I'm actively after, I can offer them on my trade thread here so other collectors can own them! But most of the time, I end up keeping them for myself!

I was expecting the title to be sarcastic.  I honestly thought you were going to say that the seller was upset that you called some of them 'fakies' or something.  I'm really happily surprised that that wasn't the case, lol.

LOl did you tell her a couple of her fakies are coming here to be loved as well How nice. I bought two carebear poseables from ebay and I got a letter with them  from the seller saying that they were her favourite chidlhood toys and she hoped they made me happy I kept the letter, it was so sweet x

Hehe, I did indeed tell her, I said they are going to other collectors who are happy to have them!
That's such a sweet story! I had that when I bought Wave Jumper mint with shell and Sand Dollar mint with shell from the same seller. She had them over 30 years and never put them in the bath. She must have been such a careful child!

Update on pony lot: I bought the 2 G1s and left the G3. The G3 was a sad looking Glitterbelle with tail rust and a faded body, so I left her behind. She was £1, and since I tend to find mint Glitterbelle's for half the price, I thought I would give her a miss.

She's posting them today, so I will update with before and after photos once they get here! They're not rare, but I'm just so pleased to have gotten 2 G1s for £2 who aren't the 'super commons' like Peachy and Cherries Jubilee or Posey!
