Bait Worthy?

Wow! Bargain buy!  Several of those ponies are popular and would sell quite well after a quick clean, such as Blueberry Baskets, Movie Firefly, Minty, the princess and the sea pony. More common ones like Sunlight and Mummy Sweet Celebrations are less popular.

But to be honest, personally I wouldn't bait any of those. But that's a personal thing. I only bait g1s if they are in a really bad way. It looks like you'd have no trouble trading or selling any of those on the arena if you decided to!  Then you'd have more money to buy genuinely baity ponies.

I agree with what everyone else has said, none of those look like bait to me. You could make a good profit on them just cleaning them up a little and brushing out their hair. Blueberry Baskets, Movie Version Firefly, Minty, that Princess, Seashell, the seapony...those just should not be baited at all. It's true you can get more than the $15 you paid for all of these just for Blueberry Baskets alone.

Of course they are your ponies and you are free to do with them as you will, but it would be a shame for the pony collecting community to lose these really nice ponies to being customized. Just remember that most G1's are around 30 years old and not being produced anymore, what's out there is all we have.

I would suggest selling off the ones you can to people who want/need them, or even trading some for actual bait ponies for your customs. You could get many more baits by just trading one or two of these nice ponies to someone.
