Finally made my own persona, L.T. has an official look!

[Lightning Twirl]

I created myself in pony form, Miss Lightning Twirl.  I re-drew her earlier and filled her in with color. I just used Prismacolor colored pencils and black ink pen because I am not very good at the whole computer art thing.... I'm pretty old school when it comes to art! Sorry if my shading on the hair doesn't makes sense, I tried to make it appear shiny like anime hair. How does she look?

She loves flying and her slightly-larger-than-normal pegasus wings are built just for that. She can fly pretty dang fast and yet in a very artistic, graceful matter. Her cutie mark is an orange 'starbolt' because she loves electrical weather and also the night sky. Her talent involves helping create and controlling serious weather and she is also secretly like a sky acrobat- occasionally leaving stars behind her flying trail and sometimes, depending on accuracy or brilliance in her flying performance, a thin band of lightning as well! She can spin through the sky very elegantly and loves to try to chase lightning (sometimes getting zapped!). She is a very thin cream colored Pegasus but her abilities makes up for her smaller size. She has brilliant dark blue eyes and long shiny brun hair with white shaggy bangs. Her hair is wavy and ends in a zig-zag like a lightning bolt, as a result from her style of flying. She always wears a little star sticker by her right eye.  She is very quiet but intelligent and loves to make friends!

* I am not sure at all how to create digital art.... I am completely clueless! O_o If someone can help explain to me how to create awesome art of her I can use for a sig or avatar please let me know! **If anyone wants a go at creating art for her, Id love that very much but I unfortunately cant pay anything because I just bought 2 Minties and Glitter ponies plus bills  T~T

Never apologize for doing traditional media.  There are times when there is no power or no plugs and you can still create. 

You did a wonderful job with her and the hair is not too bad.  It will come out a little better if you stick to one light source in your head.  I love her back story.

Old school traditional media is cool.  Pencil, Ink, Markers, Watercolors.. great stuff.

Anyway, I really like the way the mane looks.  Very cool pictures.

Congrats on creating your persona Nice job, I like the detailed back story. I don't know much about digital art, either, so my avi was a picture I had drawn in colored pencil for a while. Like Diamond and BlueWolf said, nothing wrong with traditional mediums.

  awwww thanks you guys! Glad to hear traditional artwork is still appreciated, I had no idea with all the digital art I see! I will keep using pencils then! =P I think I might prefer it that way anyway, tried to use Paint the other day OMG.... epic fail!

I prefer traditional media far more than digital.  A good clean scan is all it needs to be ready for a sig or avatar.
