Scored some pony stuff at motor city comic con, they didn't have the other G1 shirt I wanted with fire fly in my size. BUT what peeves me off the most is how are you going to work a booth selling pony merch and not have a clue as to who (what pony ) I am talking about ?

kakenterprise I got the shirt from the big pony booth there where a couple guys and a couple girls working the booth.  The girl who was attempting to help me just seemed clueless didn't know the g1 ponys(shirts) I was asking for and didn't know g4 fluttershy *palms face* . I got the pins from some other random booth selling shirts pins and other memorabilia.  I think motor city had an awesome turn out a lot more than previous years possibly due to Stan Lee being there . It's nice to have a big turn out but at the same time with so many people it makes it hard to move or look at vendors . my shopping was done towards the end of the day when a lot of people left. Did you go to motor city this year?

I went Friday and Sunday.  I was going to go Saturday but in the end I'm really glad I didn't due to the mass hysteria.  My uncle went Saturday and it took them forever to get off the road, find a place to park and to get inside (over 4+ hours).   It has never been that crazy and I'm really stunned.  Your the first person I've heard good things from about the con this year.   

That booth was kind of strange and out there.  They didn't look like that had allot of stuff but at the same time they took up a ton of room.

The Silver Surfer cosplay is pretty cool too, I've never seen that done before.

I walked away with a huge box of ponies.  I guess no one really went through this guys pony box and because we know him at the end of the day Sunday he let me have the box for super cheap.  I'm really glad because everything else there seemed super over priced (4x ebay prices)

We went Saturday and kinda cheated as far as parking goes. My brother and the the other two guys jumped out and stood in a spot till we got there lol. I jumped out and moved cones so my dad could pull in the lot and park . I didn't even notice a pony box any where =/  but the down side to a lot of people is not really being able to shop vendors as much. My dad put a lot of time in his Merle hand lol and it took us at least three hours and multiple layers of liquid latex body paint to pull off the silver surfer. Did you guys cos play ?I wanna see some pic of the days you went please =)
