My name is Sharayah (the -ray- is pronounced just as it sounds, as in 'a ray of sunshine'). I was named after the Amy Grant song of the same name. My parents checked into the meaning after I was born, and were told that it means 'princess' in Hebrew. However, having looked up the meaning myself, it appears to mean 'friend' in Hebrew. Either way, I love my name and its meaning, and it appears that other people like it as well. In fact, I have had several people (strangers even!) ask me if they could use my name for their babies. I am 23 years old, and was born and raised in Michigan. I have several collections, including American Girl dolls, Littlest Pet Shop, and Build-A-Bear Workshop animals, which are my three largest collections. In fact, I found MLP Arena through a member on American Girl Playthings (AGPT) and thought I'd come on over and join.

I am a fairly new MLP fan. I believe that I used to own a few ponies when I was little, but unfortunately, I no longer have them. I became interested in MLP again when my brother told me about Friendship is Magic. I started watching a few weeks ago, just catching an episode here or there on the Hub channel. However,  I discovered just yesterday that the show is available on Netflix and I've been in "pony heaven" ever since! I just bought my first four ponies (the surprise/blind bag ones) on clearance last night at my local grocery store. They are featured in my signature- Lyra Heartstrings, glow-in-the-dark Rarity, glow-in-the-dark Twilight Sparkle, and Fluttershy. They are so cute! I like several ponies from each generation, but G1 and G3 ponies are my favorites. I would like to expand my collection in the months and years to come, and I'm glad that I found this board to help me along the way.

Isn't it great when you discover a new TV show that already has heaps of  back-episodes to watch!  I've done spluges on a number of shows like that in the past and it's always awesome to watch heaps of episodes at once.  Enjoy the forums

Most definitely! It's nice to be able to sit down and watch a marathon of "new" episodes. I now have something to look forward to this weekend! I may end up "pony-ing" myself out, though.
