Hi, I recently joined after wanting to learn how to make customs and that MLPArena was one of the better, more reliable places for guides.

While I joined via the most recent Generation of MLP, I've developed a better understanding of older generations and wanting to use them as an art medium.

I hope to be actively asking questions, from Sculpey recommendations, to heat guides.
My first real project will be turning Star Catcher (version one, circa 2004) into my avatar pony (will add steampunk wings to fit with the original base)

Thank you for the warm welcome.
The avatar I'm using was from an art commission I got at BUCK (pony convention in Manchester)
Can't seem to remember the artist's name, but I loved her designs.

As for using Star Catcher, it's mainly because it was one of the few remaining models I could find in this small toy store (Had sold their majority of ponies to another collector, they still had G1 bases, so I might head there for another project)

I'll be spending some time checking through the various tutorials before I start entering the other threads; till then have a nice day.
