Hello there,

I'm a 30 year old woman from Germany, married with kids and cats, working at a university.
Why am I here? Well, our little ones are huuuuge fans of "My little Pony - Friendship is Magic" which is fine with me - there are worse things on TV, and I let them watch the English episodes, so they learn a bit of English. (The German dubbing is cringeworthy!)
So I wanted to show the kids the history of the ponies, and that they existed already when their old mother mare was a little filly. Admittedly I had quite a hard time to find a comprehensive site with My Little Pony information which is beyond (sometimes quite... erm....quirky) fandom of the current generation.
Plus, customisation and repair of old ponies seems a really amazingly interesting topic I'd love to know more about.

So I came here basically as a newbie on search for information, apart from, of course, the pony-love every little girl has had... I hope I may take a look nonetheless?
