Hi all at MLP Arena!
I'm mylittleponylover92 :)

Here goes my intro post...*deep breath*
I've taken some advice from one of the mod posts about what I could include for this:

I am 20 years old since last month - so my childhood is quickly fading away!
I am from the United Kingdom and live in the north of England.
I'm currently in my second year of uni studying psychology.

I have been a MLP fan since I could remember really, ever since my mum came home with a G1 Bowtie and Applejack from a local charity shop...since then Ive always been interested! These two ponies are obviously my favourite ponies along with...Princess Tiffany of course! (We both share the same name in America anyway)

I am mainly interested in G1 ponies as I love the 80s and how MLP first began! Although I do have most of the G2 collection as I was actually alive! Every birthday and christmas I always had a pony....or several! But I am currently collecting G1s as I started off with very few! I do have a few G3s but I stopped collecting at 12 as I moved to asia temporarily where there was no MLPs! :O

I began collecting again last year really when I first got my ebay account and realised how popular they still are! Then I bought Cotton Candy...and now I have more than I can count! Although it is hard to find certain ones in the UK!

I am a budding restorer of MLPs, I like giving them a new lease of life as they were my closest friends when I was little being an only child! It would be good to get advice from more experienced collectors and also Im happy to advise others on how to restore their treasured ponies!

Thank you! I have recently restored my first plushie! Of course its one of my faves -G1s Bowtie. Just not sure how to upload photos etc of them! But would love to share :)

Welcome to the Arena :wave:

I enjoyed reading your introduction.  I grew up with the G1 ponies too so it was nice to read about Bowtie and Applejack.  Congrats on restoring your first plushie.  She looks much happier now :)

Yay! Thank you :) Her hair is completely dry now had to blow dry it cos it would take ages to dry otherwise!

Thats nice! Its cool that guys are into MLP :)
Yeah they are still with me now, I unpacked them out of the loft in the summer time although they had all been sealed in a plastic box they sure came out grubby! But they were played with a lot and up there whilst I was abroad and then away at boarding school...so a good 8 years!

I'll have to put pics up of their restores, Applejack was the hardest as she had a few bath adventures so was reallyyyy rusty on the inside...I stilll need to follow up with her though as there is stilll some rust at the bottom of her back feet! :( Bowtie came up a treat though! Along with my other first ponies: Tootsie, Starshine and School Time and Meadow Sweet still need their hair re-doing!

I love how friendly everyone is here! :)
I enjoyed restoring Bowtie and she's come up a treat :) luckily her body was in great condition to start with just used some anti-bacterial wipes to make sure she's nice and clean to be with my other ones - my big G3 Pinkie Pie and my smaller G3 singing Christmas Minty - who I cleaned in a delicate washing machine and sewed the voice back in lol. :)

Excited to be in the MLP arena, thanks pony people <3
