Dear Santa....

I was never "taught" that Santa brought gifts on Christmas.  He was just someone like Mickey Mouse to me, so I would never have written a letter like that!!  My parents didn't grow up knowing about Santa anyway, and by the time they learned about Santa & how he was supposed to work, I was already 15!!  We weren't taught that we were allowed to "ask" for stuff anyway.  We just got what they wanted to give us.

Every year I secretly hoped I would go out the back section and find a horse tied to the clothes line.  Every year I was disappointed - but I did finally manage to wheedle a horse when I turned 14
